Q: Can I post my repair item to you?

A: You are more than welcome to send an item to us.
When sending in an item, contact us prior to posting. Also ensure that it is properly packaged for courier transport and that you have included the following:
Your full contact details
Details of the work you require, including any request for an estimate,
Additional information in regard to the fault i.e. when the fault occurs, the situation the unit was being used in when it occurred, etc. Once packaged, please send to:

Q: I Think I have a Problem?

A: If you are experiencing a problem with your lights, here are a few hints and tips you can try before sending them in to us.
Sometimes a fault is not what it seems, a faulty mains cable or wall socket can look like a faulty light.
Try plugging in to a different mains socket, and remove any extension leads you may be using.
Pack and Head:
Try moving the head from channel A to channel B, does the fault move with it?
If so then the fault lies within the head, try using another lamp-head if you have one available.
If the fault stays on Channel A when you move heads, then the fault lies within the pack, and unfortunately it will have to be sent in to us for diagnosis.
Battery Unit:
Check that the battery is fully charged and inserted properly, try using another battery if you have one with you.
If you are having problems with your AIR, RF or I/R remote, then…
• Check that the internal battery is fully charged, replace it/them if you have spares with you.
• Check that it is set to the same channel and lamp as the pack or head you are using.
• Check that the unit is correctly mounted on the hot-shoe, use the Test button to confirm it works.

Q: What can you Repair or Service?

A: We support all major brands of lighting for photography, studio, film, and continuous, as well as accessories, including Profoto, ARRI, Dedolight, Briese, Kino Flo and Manfrotto, amongst many others.
All of our technicians have been fully trained and certified by the leading manufacturers of photographic and continuous lighting equipment.
With many years of lighting experience within our technical department, you can be assured that the information and service you receive will be second to none.

Q: What if the repair is uneconomic?

A: If, upon investigating a fault, it is deemed uneconomical to perform a repair, we will advise you with any alternative options and supply you with an estimate to replace your equipment with the same or equivalent item.

Q: What is the warranty period for a repair?

A: All repairs performed by us and any spare parts used are guaranteed against a fault re-occurring due to workmanship or component failure for 90 days from the date of return.

Q: What is your turnaround time?

A: We aim to get you an estimate to you within 48hrs of receiving the equipment (excluding weekends). Once we have the go-ahead from you then we aim to finish the repair within 3 business days (subject to parts availability).

Q: Where are you located?

A: We are located in London but accept repairs from all over the United Kingdom. We also offer an overnight returns service (Mon-Fri, charges applicable), and can also arrange a delivery service to/from our Direct Digital office in Manchester.
